Processing of Personal Data

Your data, collected through the contact forms on this site, is used exclusively to respond to your inquiries and is not used for any other purposes. Your data—specifically first name, last name, email, and phone number—remains in our email account; the forms do not collect data within any database. Your data remains in our email account for 3 months, after which your emails and consequently your data are automatically and irreversibly deleted.

If you wish to remove your data earlier, you can do so by sending us an email via the contact form at the following address, https://www.gesumisericordioso.org/contatti/ specifying “personal data removal” in the subject line. We will manually remove your data within 7 working days.

Use of Cookies

A statistical survey is underway on this site using the Google Analytics tool, which utilizes cookies and other analysis parameters.
No personal data of users is intentionally acquired by the site.
The use of so-called session cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site.
The session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other IT techniques potentially detrimental to the privacy of users’ navigation and do not allow the acquisition of identifying personal data of the user.
The use of permanent cookies is strictly limited to the acquisition of statistical data useful for understanding the level of use of one’s site.

Google Analytics

This site also includes components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). These are third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (performance cookies).
Google Analytics uses “cookies” to collect and analyze information on website usage behavior (including the user’s IP address) in an anonymous form. This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it for the purpose of drafting reports for operators regarding the activities on the websites themselves. This site does not use (and does not allow third parties to use) the Google analysis tool to monitor or collect personal identification information. Google does not associate the IP address with any other data held by Google nor does it seek to link an IP address with the identity of a user. Google may also communicate this information to third parties where required by law or where such third parties process the aforementioned information on behalf of Google.
For further information, please refer to the link provided below: https://www.google.it/policies/privacy/partners/
The user can selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by installing the opt-out component provided by Google on their browser. To disable the action of Google Analytics, please refer to the link provided below: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Duration of Cookies

Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or the logout command is executed. Other cookies “survive” the closing of the browser and are available in subsequent visits by the user.
These cookies are called persistent, and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases an expiration date is set, in other cases the duration is unlimited.

Cookie Management

The user can decide whether or not to accept cookies using their browser settings. Warning: the total or partial disabling of technical cookies can compromise the use of the site’s features. The disabling of “third-party” cookies does not affect navigability in any way.

The setting can be defined specifically for different sites and web applications. Furthermore, the best browsers allow you to define different settings for “proprietary” and “third-party” cookies.
As an example, in Firefox, through the Tools->Options->Privacy menu, it is possible to access a control panel where you can define whether or not to accept the different types of cookies and proceed with their removal.

Definitions

Cookies are short fragments of text (letters and/or numbers) that allow the web server to store information on the client (the browser) to be reused during the same visit to the site (session cookies) or later, even days later (persistent cookies). Cookies are stored, based on user preferences, by the individual browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone).
Similar technologies, such as web beacons, transparent GIFs, and all forms of local storage introduced with HTML5, can be used to collect information on user behavior and the use of services.
In the remainder of this document, we will refer to cookies and all similar technologies simply using the term “cookie”.

Types of Cookies

Based on the characteristics and use of cookies, we can distinguish several categories:

Technical cookies: these are those used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service” (art. 122, paragraph I, of the Privacy Code). They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access reserved areas).

Analytical cookies: these are assimilated to technical cookies and are those used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site. They pursue exclusively statistical purposes.

Functional cookies: these are those that allow the user to navigate based on a series of selected criteria, such as the language or the products selected for purchase, in order to improve the service.

Profiling cookies: these are those aimed at creating profiles relating to the user and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same during web browsing.

Third-party cookies: during navigation on the site, the user may also receive cookies from different sites or web servers on their terminal, which are set directly by operators of websites or servers other than the site. These cookies can be sent to the user’s browser by third-party companies directly from their websites, which can be accessed by navigating from the site. In such cases, the operator of this site is unrelated to the operation of these cookies, the sending of which falls under the responsibility of such third-party companies.
Third-party and advertising cookies

By visiting a website you may receive cookies both from the visited site (“proprietary”), and from sites managed by other organizations (“third parties”). A notable example is represented by the presence of “social plugins” for example Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn. These are parts of the visited page generated directly by the aforementioned sites and integrated into the page of the host site. The most common use of social plugins is aimed at sharing content on social networks.
The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites managed by third parties. The management of information collected by “third parties” is governed by the relative information notices to which please refer. To ensure greater transparency and convenience, the web addresses of the various information notices and the methods for managing cookies are reported below.
